Qantas now flying non-stop from London to Perth

12/12/2016

Qantas has announced that a new non-stop service will be introduced between London and Perth in March 2018.

The 9000 mile flight on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will take 17 hours which will be the longest non-stop passenger route in the world. The current longest non-stop flight is between Dubai and Auckland which is operated by Emirates and takes 16 hours and 35 minutes.

The new service is expected to boost employment and tourism in Australia, a sector growing 3 times faster than the rest of the national economy, and one that supports 580,000 jobs. The UK is Australia's third largest source of international visitors, with 660,000 travelling from there to Australia in 2015.

What our clients are saying

Jane, I just wanted to thank you. My Dad was in a state of disbelief when I told him his visa had been granted. My brother had only just advised him that he probably would not be granted his visa in time and therefore we are all delighted with the outcome.
