Covid-19 and the 2020 - 2021 visa program

COVID-19 has had a considerable influence on Australia’s migration program resulting in significant changes to planning levels for Skilled, Partner and Parent visas. Although the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is continuing to process and grant visas in these sub-classes for Australia, the focus for the remainder of this program year ending 30 June 2021 will prioritise visas for:

•    People with the most urgent need to travel, including partners and dependent children of Australian citizen and permanent residents

•    Non-citizens with compelling and compassionate reasons needing to travel to Australia

•    People supporting essential services such as health and aged care workers, agriculture and critical infrastructure

Seeking advice at an early stage

Most applicants planning to migrate to Australia have lots of questions and although research via forums and websites offer some guidance, information can be misleading and difficult to interpret. During these uncertain and challenging times, it has therefore become even more important to seek advice from a registered migration agent on how these changes will impact on your plans to migrate to Australia.

Consultations are available to both applicants considering appointing an agent to represent them or those who are planning to prepare their own visa application.

If  you have the potential to be granted a visa for Australia but are seeking reassurance that you have understood the visa process, a consultation will provide you with:

•    A comprehensive overview of the visa options available to you
•    Details on the benefits and disadvantages of each visa option
•    An indication of the processing timetable
•    A summary of the total cost for the visa class selected
•    An opportunity to ask key questions
•    The benefit of making an informed judgement regarding your visa plans

SKYPE and telephone consultations are available at the following times:

•    Monday – Friday between 09:30 – 17:00
•    Saturday between 09:00 – 12:00
•    Tuesday evenings between from 17:00 – 19:00.

Consultation fees

•    15-minute telephone consultation - £45
•    30-minute telephone consultation - £65
•    60-minute SKYPE consultation - £95

What our clients are saying

We would both like to thank you very much for guiding us through this process which at times we found to be quite daunting and bewildering. I think we we’re both caught off guard when the approval came through, it was a surprise to say the least and also a huge relief as we can now both put our anxieties aside and start planning for our future together in Australia. We are both more than happy to if add to your collection of testimonies if you wish and again thank you very much
