Significant changes were made to the skilled occupations lists on 19
April 2017 which affect people applying for the Temporary Work (Skilled) subclass 457 visas,
General Skilled Migration visas and Permanent Employer Sponsored visas. These measures are designed to tighten Australia's employer and
skilled migration programmes to ensure they better meet Australia's
skills needs, increase the quality and economic contribution of skilled
migrants and address public concerns about the displacement of
Australian workers.
Concept Australia has carefully reviewed these changes and the impact they will have on the Skilled visa programme. If you are considering moving to Australia please contact us for advice on which visa pathway is relevant to your circumstances.
