Migration policy and regulations change frequently and keeping up-to-date with developments is challenging and plotting your way through the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website can leave you with more questions than answers.

Seeking advice prior to commencing your visa journey will provide you with clarity on the visa process and your options which, will help you make an informed decision before you start incurring costs.

How do I arrange a consultation?

if you feel you would benefit from a consultation with the registered migration agent please send an email to info@conceptaustralia.co.uk stating your preference for:

• a date and time
• your preferred telephone number
• your address

Our office hours are Monday - Friday between 09:30 - 17:00.

What information do I need to provide?

As Concept Australia charges a fee for a consultation, we need you to provide some preliminary information as it is our policy to only engage with an applicant if we have assessed he/she has the potential to be granted a visa for Australia.

For example:

If you are a skilled applicant we need to know:

• your date of birth
• what occupation you would nominate for skills assessment
  
• what post-secondary qualifications you have been awarded
• the date you commenced your qualification and date completed
• the number of years post qualification work experience in your nominated occupation

If you are in a relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand Citizen we need to know:

• whether you are married or in a de-facto relationship
• the date your relationship commenced and became committed
• if you are engaged when you are planning to marry

If you are a parent with a child permanently resident in Australia we need to know:

• how long your child has resided in Australia
• how many children you and your partner have from all relationships
• the ages of you and your spouse

What if I am preparing my own application but would like it checked?

If you have prepared your own application but would like the reassurance that your application meets the legislative criteria applied by the DHA case officer, Concept Australia can identify any potential issues that can be addressed before you submit your application to the DHA. We will undertake a thorough review of the application form and all supporting documents and advise you of any issues that need to be addressed.  

What if I have already lodged my application but have some queries?

If you have lodged your own visa application and have some queries you can telephone the Global Service Centre in Australia to resolve any visa issues. If, however, you are unable to obtain the information you are seeking, we can assist you via a 15 minute telephone consultation for a fee of £45 + VAT.
