New age limit for Skilled applicants

From 01 July 2017, General Skilled Migration applicants for points tested skilled visa classes (excluding the New Zealand pathway) must be below the age of 45 years at the time of application for the following visa subclasses:

  • Skilled Independent visa - subclass 189
  • Skilled Nominated visa - subclass 190
  • Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa - subclass 489
