Am I eligible?

• Is your relative an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Eligible New Zealand Citizen and a member of your immediate family?
• Does your relative have a medical condition which is causing physical, intellectual or sensory impairment of their ability to attend to the practical aspects of daily life and which is likely to continue for at least the next 2 years?
• Are you willing and able to give substantial continuing assistance to your relative and understand the nature of the assistance required?
• Demonstrate that the type of assistance you provide cannot reasonably be obtained from any other relative in Australia or from welfare, hospital, nursing or community services in Australia?
• Are you of good health and character?
